The Sunriver Area Chamber of Commerce lists four Sunriver Resort courses: Caldera Links, Crosswater, Meadows and Woodlands. Crosswater is reserved for club members and resort guests, while Meadows and Woodlands are open to the public. If golf is a big reason you are looking, ask how access works for the specific home.

How far is Sunriver from Mt. Bachelor?

The Chamber puts Mt. Bachelor about 18 miles away, roughly a 20 to 30 minute drive depending on conditions. That makes a morning on the slopes and an afternoon at home very doable. Drive it once in winter before you decide, since snow sets the real pace.

What should I look for in a Sunriver home?

Think about how you will use it. A garage with room for clubs, bikes and skis. An entry that handles snow and pine needles. Outdoor space for summer evenings. And whether the home will be full time, a second home, or sometimes rented, because that changes what matters.

What should I ask before buying in Sunriver?

Ask what the owners association covers, what the rules say about rentals and exterior changes, and whether golf or amenity access comes with the home or is separate. Get the answers in writing before you fall for a floor plan.
